Dozens of racing cyclists were injured, some seriously, in mass crashes during a road race in the Black Forest on Sunday. According to initial reports, 15 to 20 participants with serious injuries and another 20 to 25 cyclists with minor injuries were taken to hospital, according to police in Konstanz. In addition, around 35 people with minor injuries remained at the scene of the accident.
