Unknown individuals have slashed the tires of more than 260 cars over several consecutive nights in Bremen. "A targeted approach against specific types of vehicles is not currently apparent," the authorities emphasized. On the night leading into Thursday, around 60 more parked cars were damaged in Bremen’s Osterholz district. In the preceding nights, dozens of vehicles had already been targeted in the districts of Neustadt, Oberneuland, and Horn-Lehe.

The special task force is working "under high pressure" and is reviewing video footage of suspects, the police stated. They are also increasing nighttime patrols and deploying targeted units. Witnesses are being asked to provide any relevant information, and a portal has been set up for submitting video or photo evidence of suspicious activity.

On the night leading into Thursday, witnesses reported seeing two men fleeing on foot near the crime scenes. Police are investigating a possible connection to the new acts of vandalism but have not provided further details or potential motives for the series of incidents.
